RACE RULES
| 1. One
minute will be allowed between races for repair or
replacement of equipment only. 2. Cars must grid on or behind their relevant grade line. 3. Cars must not be handled once the start sequence has commenced and until the finishing order has been verified. 4. No waiting at start, stopping or reversing other than to avoid track blockage or to remove another car from your lane. 5. Cars must not continue past the first bend once they have completed full race distance. 6. Drivers must not interfere with other lanes. 7.* Drivers may not drive other cars once their own car has become de-slotted. 8.* If a driver experiences problems beyond their control on the grid, they must alert the starter before the start sequence has commenced. 9. Tyres must not be sanded on the track. 10. Any car which clears the fence or loses its bodyshell before finishing the race will be excluded from the result. 11. Only computerised lap counting will be used to calculate results. Non finisher's score will be calculated using laps completed, and then position on track, irrespective of circumstances. Computer's results will be final in all matters (Drivers are responsible for stopping after 6 laps in accordance with Race Rule 5) 12. Any driver who suspects that a competitor's car no longer conforms to the Car Construction Rules may ask for that car to be re-scrutineered at any time. If the car fails, then that driver may not race unless it can be repaired or replaced in accordance with Race Rules. However, if the protest is not upheld by the scrutineer (ie. car passes) the protester must pay a 50p levy to the club funds. Failure to comply with Race Rules 1 - 7 will result in disqualification (and a re-run of the race without offending car if necessary) A starter and scorer will be designated observe the racing and assist the starter with any decisions. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES, STARTERS DECISION WILL BE FINAL IN ALL MATTERS |
