Leek Slot Stox Club - Club Rules

PRACTICE TIME FROM 8.15pm TO 8.40pm

All drivers must register and pay entry fee before practice.

Latest entry time is 8.30pm. Any driver who intends to race but will not be at the track by 8.30pm must inform another member of their intention to be entered in later heats. Failure to register by 8.30pm will regrettably result in exclusion from the racing.

Track will be switched off at 8.40pm in preparation for scrutineering at 8.45pm. Racing will commence at 9.00pm prompt.

Heat and final races to be of 6 laps duration.

6 points for winner, down to 1 point for 6th place, providing full race distance is covered.
Non finisher's places will be determined by distance travelled, but will have 1 point deducted.

Drivers will compete in 2 heats racing once on each lane in each heat.

Heat points are then totalled and top 5 drivers qualify directly to final.

Ties are decided by 'countback'.

Next 6 point scorers race once on each lane, in consolation heat, for remaining place in final.

NOTE: In consolation and final, lanes are chosen by 'highest scorer first' system.

Final winner is first to score 40 points, with drivers rotating lanes after each race.

Championship points are then allocated as follows:

1st - 10 points
2nd - 5 points
3rd - 4 points
4th - 3 points
5th - 2 points
6th - 1 point

COMPETITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING THEIR OWN SCORES AS MISTAKES CANNOT BE RECTIFIED LATER
